Hello! I'm Emrah Çelik. I'm a sound and computer engineer born in 1980, a father of two, and living in Sweden. I've been working with computer-based music since 1997. I've performed as a DJ in many parts of Türkiye and the world, and I've produced songs that topped the charts for months, were included in the playlists of many famous DJs, and sold a large number of copies. After receiving my education in Sound Engineering and Music Production in Sweden, I started as an instructor at Sweden's second-largest university, where my achievements led me to a leadership role, and I trained sound engineers. I continued in this role for 8 years, resigning in 2022 to resume my studies in systems engineering at university, focusing on developing software in the field of sound technologies. During this time, I was nominated for Producer of the Year twice and won the Producer of the Year award in the mixing and mastering category at the 2020 Swedish Local Heroes awards. I also hold certifications from Grammy Award-winning sound engineers Andrew Scheps and Greg Wells, and I was mentored by Grammy Award winner John Peterno. To address the resource gap in sound technologies, sound engineering, mixing, and mastering in Türkiye, I founded MIXYAP in 2015 and created this channel. Welcome to Mixyap!
