My Time With Comicstorian
This is a video about my relationship with Benny, a man who I have had the pleasure of knowing for not just his entire YouTube career, but also my entire adult life. This is not a general eulogy or an overview of his passion and contribution to the comic book industry. It's not about me. It's about us. This is about being intentional with your friendships and that if there are any you have been wanting to repair, don't let the opportunity slip you by. It's to be open and honest about the complexity of adult friendships, but most importantly, it's about making sure that you're intentional with the time that you have.
Multiple people such as Comics Explained have made similar videos talking about their lives with Benny and without trying to speak for others, as a content creator, putting my thought to video is a part of how we process things. I debated about even uploading this, but after running it by some colleagues, they thought that some folks might relate to having a slurry of emotions with the passing of a friend you had multiple regrets with.
