Degassing Silicone For Better Molds & Casts
In this tutorial I explain the basics of Vacuum degassing silicone to make bubble free molds. Degassing silicone, even really low viscosity silicone, will give you much better quality molds. In a future video I will be covering degassing of Polyurethanes for casting.

If you need a better degassing setup than what I am using here, Centerpointe offers an industrial scale Vacuum cart. I had access to one of these when I worked in a DFW area prototyping shop and it was magical!
