GYSD Project: Acting in Unison
Kamila Churukova '16 organized house improvement activitiesi in the elderly house n Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on April 15-22. 15 students and 30 local residents painted interior rooms, outside benches, and planted black-currants. The goals of the projects were to develop mutual understanding between youth and elders while working together. Based on the outcomes, elders enjoyed being physically active and giving advice to the young generation. Volunteers had a chance to make their possible contribution
