Pruning of bifera fig trees to force them to produce only figs
On this occasion, we pruned our fig tree to demonstrate that there is no difference between pruning with leaves during dormancy and pruning without leaves.
This variety is a bifera fig tree, but we're forcing it to be unifera, meaning it will only produce figs. To achieve this, we removed all the working branches from last spring.
