2001: A Metaphysical Masterpiece
2001: A Space Odyssey, directed by Stanley Kubrick is one of the best films of all time. So much has already been said about 2001: A Space Odyssey - BUT I think I have a simple take focusing on Chapters 1 and 2, "The Dawn of Man", and "Mission to the Moon" which take up 86 of the film's 149 minute total runtime.
Most people, when discussing 2001, only remember HAL 9000 and Dave vying for power and survival aboard Discovery One - the Spaceship headed for Jupiter...
Here, we will, instead focus our attention on "The Dawn of Man" and "Mission to the Moon".
