Onshape custom feature to evaluate collisions between entities
Join me behind the scenes for another of my single-take rehearsals for demos that I am prepping for, test-driving new concepts, or generally practicing. Usually recorded late after all my normal work is done, you might enjoy some of the tips and tricks I hope to offer.
This is a really quick snippet (admittedly without too much context - that will follow in future episodes!) for a neat little function that can be written into a Custom feature. I evaluate "collisions" between various entities, reporting the number of such collisions. Yes there is a lot more that you can report (the nature of the collision etc) but this is just a bare bones example I did to test performance.
