Google Home talks to Alexa - Funny!
Alexa & Google Fight
Just shot a fun video for you guys where Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Generation ( Alexa) has a conversation with Google Nest Mini 2.
The AI is getting better each day that I had this thought if I could make the 2 robots talk to each other without any intervention from me :-)
For those interested in the technical aspects:
By saying “Alexa, start Skynet”, it invokes a custom Skill ( Skynet ) that I have written. It greets google by speaking a programmed message.
Google in turn responds ( I have set conversation enabled on Google which is a great feature and doesn’t wait for the Ok Google keyword ).
The Alexa skill has Intents that I have defined which listen to the keywords from what Google says and speaks out messages that I want it to say.
The end result is a fun conversations between the two :-)
I did not publish the skill (yet). It’s in development mode. If anyone is interested, leave a comment below.
