United Healthcare CEO
UHC CEO Brian Thomspson was killed entering a shareholder meeting in NYC and the class consciousness level was raised a bit
Leftists, Centrists, and even a lot of Right wingers had no sympathy for Brian
We all know our healthcare system sucks and we need UHC now.
Hegseth’s Mom
Hegseth has a problem with alcohol apparently but has promised to not drink while SecDef
Trump continues to support Hegseth and hegseth’s mom is making the rounds on Fox and has been calling senators.
Only 6 republicans at this time are not committed to hegseth
Russian election interference
The Georgian people are not accepting the election of their pro putin fascist president and have been staging mass protests
Romanian supreme court nullified the first round of voting where a pro putin far right candidate won
South Korea
Far right president, Yook Suk Yeol lost the parliament with an opposition coalition winning 192 of 300 seats
He then declared martial law and promised to arrest opposition politicians after labeling them NK sympathizers
The people began protesting as opposition parliamentarians raced the military to the National Assembly building
Staffers fought the military off so the assembly could vote to reverse the martial law declaration
The vote was held and the martial law was reversed
The far right party boycotted the vote to impeach the president so there wasn’t a quorum (200 votes needed) and the president was not impeached
France
The government collapsed, which means no laws can be passed
How did this happen?
In June, President Macron dissolved parliament and called for an early election after his centrist party was defeated heavily by the Far right party of Marine La Pen in European parliament elections
A coalition of centrists and leftist was formed to defeat the far right
The leftists won the most seats but not a majority
The far right won the second most seats
Macrons centrists won the least seats
No coalition had a majority
Macron rejected the leftists request to form the government and asked the centrists and center right groups to lead and apportioned a center right prime minister
The Leftists and Far right then joined up to remove the prime minister
