Amtrak GP38H-3
At 9:38pm on 10/2/20/24 a westbound ballast train rolls through Paoli Station. Leading the train is GP38H-3 # 521 a former Go Transit Gp40TC. The 521 is special because I got to sit in the cab of that unit, on my 16th birthday. It's also the first diesel locomotive I've been in or on. Another surprise is seeing P42 # 98 on the rear but it's facing the wrong way. It's been years since I've seen any P42's used in ballast train service. I hope you enjoy this brief but cool video.
