YaCy Searchlab Quick Introduction to Index Export / Import
The YaCy Searchlab (searchlab.eu) is a new YaCy Project. The Searchlab provides a Search-as-a-Service portal using YaCy Grid technology. When using that portal you are able to create a hosted search index and you can use it using a set of search apps.
This tutorial shows that using the searchlab is not a lock-in situation because you are always able to take the index that you created and export it into a file which can be imported into a YaCy installation on premise/your home.
