I originally got this idea from a resort I stayed at earlier this year. The water glasses were made from wine bottle and I just LOVED them!
It's an easy (and cheap) way to make an entire set of glassware for yourself. You can make a set of tall and short ones as well! Once you buy the glass cutter--it's basically free to make them!

TIPS:
To remove labels:
pour hot water into bottles (leave for 2 mins)
spray with cleaner (let set for 2 mins) and scrub off
Bottle Cutting:
slow and steady even pressure
only go around once
hot, cold, hot water for 10 sec each
