Private Sector Adds Fewest Jobs Since 2021 | Business Matters (September 5)
Hiring cooled significantly in the us private sector last month.
On thursday, payroll processor adp reported businesses added 99,000jobs in August.
The monthly estimate came in well below economists’ expectations of 141,000 jobs.
It was also lower than July's total, which was downwardly revised by 11,000 jobs to 111,000.
