My fahter was born on 24.12.1945 (The first Christmas after the end of World War II) and passed away on 15.01.2021 in his 75.
My father's mother's name was Marie and his father's name was Josef. My father's sisters and brothers called him Baby Jesus (Czech Jezisek).
Baby Jesus (Jezisek) is the traditional Christmas gift-bringer in the Czech Republic.
My father caught COVID-19 and passed away after 12 days of hospitalisation. Due to COVID-19 protocols, we couldn't even see father’s dead body and it seems to us that he just left for a while and rings the door bell at the moment.....
Clouds in this video were taken above his beloved garden in Prague.....
Almost the entire Old Town Square in Prague was covered on Monday morning (March 22, 2021) by 25,000 crosses, which symbolize almost 25,000 deaths on COVID-19 in the Czech Republic.
One of those crosses was for my father .....
By December 24, 2021, a total of 35,000 died of COVID-19 in the Czech Republic .....
