I Built Tinder for Ugly People. Are you Ugly Enough?
I built a React web app that is basically Tinder for ugly people.
I mean I stole a Tinder clone app that was built in React.js and f&^d up.
In a way so that only ugly people are allowed to use it.
I always thought Tinder was horrible and useless and I thought it was time to fix this by building my own version of it (using nothing but Html, CSS and Javascript) (Well and React) (But it's also Javascript really)
No wait. The app also uses Node.js on the server side to send all the user data to the database.
No wait. Node.js is also Javascript – it just runs on the server.
I also might have used Firebase for the image upload, as the original code I stole did not have that functionality.
And I also might have used face-api.js (JavaScript API for face detection and face recognition in the browser implemented on top of the tensorflow.js core API) to only allow ugly people use the app.
