Opis: "In order to design a reliable and highly accurate deep neural network model it is crucial to understand what features it learns in the training process. It may happen, that the model is performing well only because the dataset is biased. For example, if the model is trained to detect poisoned apples and the dataset consists of indoor images of poisoned apples and outdoor images of not poisoned apples, there is a high chance, that the model will learn to classify outdoor-indoor, not poison-not poison. Explainable AI is crucial, especially in medicine, where we make diagnoses and decisions about future treatment. In the talk, I will present the main techniques used to interpret neural networks and a case study, where XAI helped me spot a problem in my neural network.”
