'Look at the Bones' : Adding Bone in a Bloomery Iron Smelt
The presentation delivered at the May 2023 Experimental Archaeology conference - EAC13. An overview of the more detailed upcoming paper, describing the experiment of June 2020, where quantities of raw animal bone were added to a full iron smelt of 25 kg ore.
