Tom Barclay, Kepler Research Scientist
Tom Barclay is a Research Scientist for the Kepler mission at NASA Ames Research Center. He spoke to the NASA Social atendees about the mission and how planets are discovered.
NASA Ames invited 15 social media followers to see behind the scenes of a remote rover test between Astronaut Luca Parmitano on the ISS and a rover at NASA Ames on July 26th, 2013. The goal of the mission was to understand how future missions could remotely control rovers to complete tasks like deploying an antenna on the surface of the moon.
