WHAT'S AN OMUSANDO?!?
Omusando is a “sandwich” that has rice and nori (seaweed) to house the fillings instead of bread. The name derives from the Japanese rice ball, “Omusubi” and “Sandwich.”
HOW DO YOU MAKE IT?
Omusando’s “bread” is created by placing nori upon a rice sheet formed by AUTEC’s sushi robot ASM865A. The filling can be anything that goes well with rice. Take an existing menu item and use it as a filler. The possibilities are endless!
