Notorious B58 PROBLEMS! | F30 340i Engine Replacement
On this episode of Manji TV, we tackle a motor replacement for a BMW 340i that had a problematic cylinder 3, resulting in low compression and excessive oil consumption. We replaced it with a low-mileage B58 engine and rebuilt the existing Pure 800 turbo to ensure it was in good condition. The process involved removing various components, swapping wiring harnesses, and upgrading the suspension with Turner mono-balls for improved handling. After overcoming some minor issues, we successfully installed the new engine and got everything ready for a test drive, ensuring everything was functioning smoothly.
