Production Quality For Film Scores
This clip is from a larger video I released about producing music for the CW series Walker Independence.
I have always felt that music production is an integral part of the composition process. IMHO, the ways in which you mix and layer instruments, and ultimately how the final score is perceived by the listener, are just as significant as the notes being played. This video specifically looks at how I’ve treated the musical elements of an action scene from the show, so that the final score works with the other auditory elements, while also being able to stand on it own as a piece of music.
