The Average Mustang Enthusiast Gets This Color Wrong
Saleen started offering custom colors in the late 1990's. By the time the New Edge Mustang rolled around they were offering multiple custom color options. This New Edge Saleen is painted in Rainbow paint. This color is often confused with the Ford Mystic and Mystichrome paints. The video just can't do this car justice. You have to see one in person to capture the deep hue of this car.
Add the custom paint on top of this car being an Extreme model and you've rounded out the performance with the looks. The Extreme models received a balanced and blueprinted motor with custom cams and forged internals. As Mark has mentioned in a previous video, these motors are noisy when they are cold.
