Superstition Peak 5024 via Siphon Draw Trail is perhaps the hardest hike in Phoenix. Technically, it's not actually in the city of Phoenix but well within a drive distance. The steeper, longer ascent, technicality of the hike and treacherous descent of Superstition Peak 5024 easily surpasses Camelback Mountain (via Echo Canyon) in every aspect.

There are two plateau points which are easier to reach at lower altitude than the peak: one about 2 miles in from the Siphon Draw Trailhead parking lot and another one called Flatiron. But if you made it up to Flatiron, you have gone through the worse. It's totally worth to make the final push to the peak as the 360 view at the top will blow your mind.
