GM3 Power Rack Squat Cage
As a 3D Generalist, I undertook an exciting project to create a 3D animation video for the GM3 Squat Cage, a premium piece of gym equipment from GYM Master. The goal of the project was to produce a visually compelling and informative animation that highlighted the key features and benefits of the GM3 Squat Cage, making it an attractive choice for potential customers.

Project Steps:
Concept Development:
Collaborated with the GYM Master team to understand the key features and unique selling points of the GM3 Squat Cage.
Developed a storyboard outlining the sequence of scenes to be included in the animation.
3D Modeling:
Created a highly detailed 3D model of the GM3 Squat Cage using Blender.
Ensured accuracy in dimensions and details to match the real product.
Texturing and Materials:
Applied realistic textures and materials to the model using Substance Painter.
Used PBR techniques to achieve lifelike metallic and rubber surfaces.
Rigging and Animation:
Rigged the squat cage to animate moving parts such as safety bars and weight supports.
Animated various exercises being performed with the cage, demonstrating its versatility and ease of use.
Lighting and Rendering:
Set up dynamic lighting to enhance the visual appeal of the animation.
Used advanced rendering techniques in Blender’s Cycles renderer to produce high-quality, photorealistic frames.
Post-Production:
Imported the rendered frames into Adobe After Effects for final compositing and editing.
Added captions, branding elements, and background music to enhance the overall presentation.
Review and Revisions:
Presented the initial version to the GYM Master team for feedback.
Made necessary revisions to ensure the final video met their expectations and requirements.
Outcome:
The final 3D animation video effectively showcased the GM3 Squat Cage's design, functionality, and benefits. It was well-received by the GYM Master team and was prominently featured in their marketing campaigns. The video not only enhanced the product’s appeal but also helped in driving customer engagement and sales.
