Let's face it, these are pretty cheap headphones, but they do have a ton of bass. After breaking them in over night they did sound ok. I couldn't recommend these to an audiophile or any sort of serious music listener. They are fine for spoken word, audiobooks, podcasts etc. They seem well made for the price but in the sound is just not there.
