What I Think About Danmachi Battle Chronicle (Gacha Review)
TLDR: I'd give this game a solid 3 or 3.5/5. It hasn't done anything to impress me thus far, but I have seen it vastly improve over the past couple updates since launch, so I am confident the game will eventually become a staple 4/5 on the app store. Obviously the developer's budget does not compare to competitors like Honkai Impact or Punishing Gray Raven that share similar hack and slash gameplay. At launch the gameplay was pretty boring, but I have seen the animation, performance, and amount of content improve which gives me hope it will get better. The new story events give you a little more content besides the canon material and the cutscenes are decent. The cast of characters is vast so if you're a collector, you will enjoy this game, albeit getting crystals later on is rather difficult. The PVP modes are pretty bland and I question if it provides any value to the game. The overall vibe is staggeringly close to Memoria Freese so if you enjoyed that game, you will feel right at home here.
