Skyra Studios Dance Company Performance Reel 2019
The Skyra Competitive Company is recommended for dancers of various styles that want to take their training to the next level. This focused company is designed to prepare its members for a professional career in classical ballet, contemporary ballet, concert, broadway, or commercial dance.
Dancers train year-round to maintain and improve their technique, balance, strength, flexibility, performance skills, and artistry.
Dancers range from ages 6-18 and each dancer is required to take a minimum of 12 training hours per week plus rehearsal time.
Dancers have the opportunity to compete solos, duets, trios and group numbers locally and nationally if they so choose.
We tailor each dancers competitive season towards their career goals.

You are welcome to apply via video audition and online application. A $25 fee applies.
Videos should be no longer than 10 minutes long and include one of the following:
1. Ballet Work that includes:
-barre work taken from the front and side (plies, tendu, rond de jambe, developpe)
-center work (adagio, petite and grand allegro, with grand allegro including pirouettes)
-pointe work (two combinations of your choice)
2. Solo Performance
-the dancer’s body must be clearly visible
