When it comes to fixed iron sights, the PEAK Sights by Scalarworks are in a class of their own. They are incredibly strong, made of 7075 T6 aluminum and ultralight, weighing less than 2.5 ounces.
But the real kicker is that they are designed for a shorter sight radius. Rather than the 20" model, a holdover from the M-16, they are designed around a 15" sight radius, such as the modern shorter carbines.
I shot with them on numerous guns, from competing in the Tactical Games, to a Runenation Carbine Course, to the 'Merica Match. They do a awesome job...
