Trowbridge Family at Foxglove - Our House song
My family gathered in mourning and celebration after the funeral of my grandmother, Jean Trowbridge, at my aunt & uncle's estate in Fort Langley. The song, Our House, originally written by Graham Nash was played by Robert Trowbridge with everyone joining along and my two daughters taking center stage. Please excuse the weak onboard audio as this footage was impromptu, my slightly off-key singing, and my ever-expanding beard :) Hope this gives a peek into the joy that I experienced through my childhood with family celebrations always including my Aunt Judy & Uncle Bob's renditions of their favorite songs and seasonal ones too. Sadly, I wasn't blessed with their musical genes - haha! The important thing is the joy of music anyway. Everyone has their gifts and I gotta mention that my aunt Judy decorated and styled her beautiful house - isn't it such a treasure?
