You can play Portal 2 in VR thanks to this Half-Life: Alyx mod called ApertureVR - Thinking Without Portals! Unfortunately you cant use a Portal Gun due to the Half-Life Alyx engine, but the Mod Team comprised of four members did an excellent job at recreating the look and feel of Portal while offering 4 challenging levels to play through. The Mod can be Downloaded in the Steam Workshop for free.
