To get to the terminal:
Kubuntu: K menu -- Applications -- System -- Terminal (Konsole)
Ubuntu: Dash -- More Apps -- Accessories -- Terminal
Command for installing Dynamic Kernel Module Support (DKMS):
'sudo apt-get install dkms' (without the quotes)
Command for installing Virtualbox Guest additions:
'sudo ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run' (again, without the quotes)
