A hind - Stalking red deer - Łania
I needed a young hind for the freezer. Went out in the morning and sure enough found a group of red deer, but they were on the top of the field and I did not have much cover to close the distance, but slowly moved on until they went over. When I was getting over the brow one of the stags popped and spotted me. I thought it was all over, but had good wind and enough time to select suitable animal.
Shot and went to the motor, but by the time I was back ravens found the carcass. Didn't do much damage in 20 minutes, but still not a nice view.

Dzików nie ma, to postanowiłem chociaż strzelić jakąś łańkę na kuchnię. Pojechałem rano i znalazłem chmarę jeleni, ale w trudnym miejscu do podchodu. Ale powoli jakoś udało się podejść. Gdy schowały się za górkę to podszedłem w nadziei, że jeszcze zdążę obejrzeć.. Jak na złość byk wyszedł na 30m i narobił rabanu. Myślałem, że już po wszystkim, ale miałem dobry wiatr i chmara jeszcze stała. Udało się wybrać młodą łanię i strzelić zanim uciekły.
Po strzele poszedłem po samochód i te 20 min wystarczyły, żeby kruki znalazły i dobrały się do tuszy...
