Marketing Takes Time
I built a portrait business while never photographing a single horse show as an "official photographer". Being an OP is a great way to meet people, but I am not good with long hours or events, so I had no interest.
My marketing strategy is a long game and always has been. In general, it takes people 1-3 years to book with me after they first encounter my brand. Everything I'm doing right now (marketing-wise) is for the future.
