53 3 Crore Personally Identifiable Data leaked from Facebook!
A low level hacking forum released almost 53.3 crore personally identifiable information from facebook which includes more than 60 lakhs Indian citizens data. The leaked data does contain facebook id, name, location, gender, age, mobile number, birth date, bio and email in some cases. This happened after a vulnerability was found on facebook in 2019, all the information were scraped and went in sale for the past two years. Now the data was leaked on April 4 and is easily downloadable by anyone having a very primitive skill on using internet. Facebook didn't notify any their users of such an incident on 2019. This clearly shows us the problem with facebook and how irresponsible it is.
