What is the benefits using dedicated e-readers and not smartphones or tablets to read books on?
Some people doesn't see or understand why they should use real e-ink based e-readers to read books on when they already have a smartphone like the iPhone or a Tablet like the iPad to do that on. So in this video I'll try to explain why you should use dedicated ebook readers instead of smartphones or tablets.
Some benefits:
no eye strain or headaches because it uses e-ink and not lcd, and no PWM
can read excellent outside in direct sunlight
Doesn't need built in light
Has front light instead of backlight
Excellent Battery life - only uses energy when turning pages.
no distractions
doesn't need internet
automatically shows the book cover as screen saver
