Zaxxon speedup (48K ZX Spectrum)
Zaxxon was a great arcade game, but ZX Spectrum got a very poor port by U.S. Gold.
This is a somewhat improved version. With tremendous efforts applied it's now faster, smoother and the ship flickering is gone.
It's a work in progress still.
Plans were: 1. More variety of sounds - shooting and explosions. At least like in DOS version. 2. A scrolling wall on the left like in arcade version 3. Blue background on the ground, black in space like in arcade version 4. The speed is not stable still. And the game still slow in space
