Step 2:Model Based development Automatic Sanitizer Dispenser :Altair Embed (Real time Simulation)
In this second steps the simulation is performed in real time means real world time . The reason to do this is to be able to get human inputs via simulation GUI interfaces like buttons which can be used to test the logic in the state charts using human inputs and see how the control logic performs.
This is nice step to check the overall system performance on a PC environment without having to need to have the hardware and easily test the overall system and look at how to tune the timing behavior.
Real time simulation not only help in this area but as we go along one could also connect real world inputs from lets say a Serial port/UDP to make more deeper tests. We will also leverage the real time simulation capabilities during our Processor In the Loop (PIL) and Hardware In the Loop (HIL) Scenario.
