Hibernation Walkthrough: Interloper (The Long Dark)
One method of surviving for long periods is to hibernate. This involves passing time and maximizing your resources. Sounds easy, but it requires managing food, water, matches, fire and sleep. If you are in one region only, then it becomes complicated because of cabin fever: You need to be outside long enough for the cabin fever to go away, but without a bedroll and very warm clothing, options are limited.
