Heat treatment of bees in a drum against mites
At the apiary of the Institute of Fruit Growing of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences, Kirill Viktorovich Bogomolov conducted a demonstration treatment of a bee colony in Vladimir Vasilyevich Yarankin's heat chamber. The colony was actually saved from certain death, as during the selection of bees for the heat chamber, three large mice, three fat moth larvae, and three Varroa parasites were driven out of the hive and destroyed.
