Swimming in liquid sand! 🏊
Fluidization occurs when pumping air into the bottom of a tub full with sand or other granular material. The sand acts like a liquid allowing a buoyant force to be exerted on objects allowing some to float, while others sink.
This demo was presented by Dr. Dawson Nodurft @tamu, built by students, and inspired by @MarkRober's video on #liquidsand in 2017.
