Kris and Teri, both past district directors, reminisce about their Toastmasters journey, starting from their time as area directors. They discuss Teri’s initial confusion about the High Performance Leadership (HPL) project and how it fostered their friendship. They recall their experiences at the 2019 International Convention in Colorado, where they were encouraged to network and step out of their comfort zones. Teri shares her current role as conference chair and their ongoing collaboration. They also touch on their favorite beverages and appetizers, and Kris credits Teri with inspiring her to start a podcast.
