You're going to want to watch the fight before you enter!!! I would just bring the highest magic spell you can use and go NORTH EAST area to stop the MOM from attacking you so you can wait for your time to shine!, I rage quit about 10 times because I wanted to hurry the quest up... but it just made it longer.. soooo I would suggest sticking to 1 or 2 Attack styles.
