If you pop your Canon EOS RP into a cage, add a monitor, power solution, and a external audio recorder with XLR inputs, you can pretty much build your self a mirrorless camera rig with almost the same features of a Full Frame Canon C100 MK II.
If you compare the Full Frame senor of the Canon RP to the Super 35(APS-C) sensor on the C100mkII, you'll see the Canon RP is a serious contender.
The dynamic range, video bitrate, chroma sub-sampling, and 8-bit video are almost the same.
