We previously looked at how vital it is to mix audio tracks in relation to one another. It's obvious that the dialogue has to be loud and clear compared to the atmos and sountrack, but what about when there is a lull in the conversation? A standard practice is to lift the other tracks up to keep a consistent audio output. This can get time-consuming if done manually, which is why the automation recording function is so helpful.
