Derek Smith and Maggie Runacres are 80 and 81 respectively and, while they’re blessedly healthy, they're having to work well past retirement age as inflation cuts into their savings.
Derek, a former TV producer, and Maggie, a cook and food presenter, are hoping to produce a new cooking show to sell.
They recently moved from Merrickville to Brockville into a small but cute semi-detached home as it was cheaper.
