So how was it...?

The Calabaza catamaran trip was incredible! Very good value for money! Food and drinks can be expensive in Barbados, so to have this unlimited, and a boat trip, is a very good deal! Also the people are lovely.

Surfing was incredible. I've surfed all over the world doing lessons and they are definitely the best I've ever had! Axe is a great guy, and deals with you on a person to person basis rather than just lumping you into a group. I also felt incredibly safe with him! They do lessons for beginners through to advanced (as Axe is incredible at surfing!), and also rent boards for whatever length of time you need. If you have ever thought about it, 100% you should do it here.

"Boatyard" is a great place to spend a day with kids and big kids alike. The food was good, there's plenty of fun activities including a rope swing, trampoline in the water and more! They provide everything you need for the boat, and simply call your name when it's your turn to go and see the turtles and shipwreck. There's lockers, you can hire a lock from the bar for $10 (£3.40) deposit.

Oistins Fish Fry was great, definitely try and go on a Friday night if you can, as there is more of a buzz. take lots of cash, as when you get there you will see so much food you want to try!

We loved Coconut Court! The staff were fantastic, especially Charlie in the bar (who will feature in part 2 😉). The Quarantine room was perfect, the staff made things very easy, and our 2 bed villa was perfect for longer stays. Also incredibly cheap considering. But more on that next time. See you in part 2.
