Summit Carburetor Rich Idle Fix
I've spent the last couple of months battling my Summit Racing M2008 Series carburetor and a rich idle. I had the mixture screws turned all the way in and it still wasn't lean enough. I watched a million tuning videos and tried a handful of other fixes thinking it could be a vacuum leak, the timing was too far out, or I had the plugs. Nothing would fix it. Finally I stumbled upon this forum post from 2014:
