Hello everyone, today I will tell you how you can increase the FPS and adjust the acceleration in games on Windows 10. Optimization and stability of the game is directly determined by such a value as FPS. It indicates the refresh rate of the image. And the higher the FPS, the more comfortable the game will be. Unfortunately, not all computers, let alone old or weak computers, give maximum performance. However, there are several instructions on how you can try to increase the FPS in games on the Windows 10 operating system. Using them, you can feel the performance gain in your favorite games.

The number of frames per second depends not only on the capabilities of the computer, but also on the game itself. The simpler it is, the more stable the indicator will be.
But before making any adjustments to your computer, I strongly recommend that you create a restore point in order to be able, after the settings, if something goes wrong, to return your computer to its previous state without any problems.
To do this, right-click on the "start" icon, "System".
Next, the system protection item, and at the bottom of the window, click create, enter the name of the restore point that we understand, and again presses the create button.
In the process of gaming, you need to take into account that computer resources are consumed not only by the game, but also by the operating system itself. This is especially true for devices based on quite demanding Windows 10. To reduce resource consumption and thereby increase the FPS in the game, it is recommended to abandon the visual effects of the OS for this you need:
Open "Explorer" by right-clicking on the start icon then select "Explorer".
Right-click on the "This PC" tab. Go to "Properties". We click on the inscription "Additional system parameters". Expand the "Advanced" tab "Performance" and click "Options". We select the item "Provide the best performance" Thus, we uncheck all the marked effects, but such a radical setting will most likely not suit you, everything starts to look too clumsy, so we will still leave a check mark on the item "Smoothing the unevenness of screen fonts" and save the settings. After changing the settings, a significant part of the computer's resources will be devoted to the game, and you will be able to experience a much more comfortable gaming experience thanks to the higher refresh rate.
The next thing we will do is disable unnecessary background applications that are consuming our computer's resources.
Open the application by right-clicking on the start icon then select "Options".
Let's go to the "Confidentiality" section.
Further to the subsection "Background applications".
Here we select and disable applications you do not need.
After all the shutdowns, the computer needs to be restarted. When the background processes are terminated, you can also feel that the game has become more comfortable.
The next thing to do is to remove unnecessary programs.
The new settings will reduce latency as well as increase the frame rate during gameplay. But for the changes to take effect, you will need to restart your computer.
There are even more in-depth and fine-tuning settings for Windows 10, but even such settings are enough to feel an increase in performance in games if you have a weak computer.
