A melodic EDM pop celebration written to mark the lifting of Lockdown restrictions and the start of the summer season after such a dark winter – it’s The Weekend! It’s time to party!
The song starts in Lockdown with an empty bus rolling past, the ‘bridge’ reflects vaccination and springtime and the beat starts; leading up to the rousing Chorus – The Weekend! – then the inevitable hangover - echoed in the music.
This is the third single from the forthcoming ‘Super Synthetic Computer Pop’ album, the previous two collaborating with Pete Brown (the global number one mastermind behind Sam Brown’s ‘Stop’).
