Brake lights that don't work or don't come on when they should be are often caused by a faulty brake switch under the brake pedal. This video explains how to temporarily reactivate the brake switch on a Logan. Incidentally, similar switches are also used on other cars, such as the Sandero and Largus.
The key when reactivating the switch is caution and precision, as it's quite fragile, especially its retractable rod with a ratchet. It can easily break if you press too hard.

The process itself is simple: disassemble, clean the contacts, and reassemble.
Overall, the design is poor due to the contacts occasionally turning black, which requires cleaning. This requires disassembling the part, then reassembling it, and adjusting the trigger point under the pedal. All these manipulations cause wear on the plastic parts. Even the manufacturers themselves recommend adjusting them no more than three times, after which you'll probably need to buy a new switch. :)
The solution is to reduce the current on the contacts: install LED lamps or an intermediate relay. Alternatively, periodically clean the contacts or buy a new switch.
Good luck everyone!
